X-Factor Radio

90s Hour 4 times per day!

I am always interested in seeing what the program picks for songs. I set the repeat rules and other odd ball rules but I let the program/computer pick the songs. Every so often it puts something back to back that makes me cringe and sometimes I am like how did that happen and I have tweaked the rules. But for the most part I am happy with the software. Here is the last 90s hour that just ended. Bottom song was first (REM) and Beastie Boys ended the 90s Hour.
What caught my eye on this hour is why did the software pick so many BIG artists so close to each other. REM, Oasis, No Doubt, Sublime, Pearl Jam…hell throw in a Red Hot Chili Peppers song and just finish it off.

My name is DJ Lotus This site will focus on music and X-Factor Radio. At various times since being a teen I have been a radio/club DJ in Bakersfield, SLO, Santa Barbara, and San Francisco. I also was a DJ at the following stations KKXX, KRAB, KSLY, KHTT, KLLY from the late 80s to the early 2000s. I hosted X-Factor Radio in Bakersfield and hosted The Other Side in San Luis Obispo. Both of these shows were alternative shows in the 90s that I hosted/programed.
