On-air talent
the morning snobNigel believes the day should begin with a properly chosen guitar, a strong cup of tea, and absolutely no songs that were approved by committee.
From the first transmission of The Xeroxed Morning, Nigel has treated the X-Factor library as a place of serious scholarship and occasional rescue work. He specializes in early New Wave, post-punk, European imports, and the overlooked records hiding behind the obvious singles.
His standards are exacting, his opinions are dry, and his contempt is reserved for corporate programming rather than the people trapped listening to it. If a B-side is superior, Nigel will explain why. At length. Probably before breakfast.
Favorite territory
- Early New Wave and post-punk
- European selections and white-label 12-inch records
- Intellectually defensible obscurities
